OAKE, the Organization of American Kodály Educators is an organization that I have been part of since I first started teaching. Their National Conference is in Hartford, CT this year, and overlaps with the Sandy Hook Run for the Families. To show their support, one of the honor choirs is performing and OAKE is running a fundraiser to raise money for the Sandy Hook Foundation. 100% of the profits go to Sandy Hook.
