Making May Musical Linky Party

I know, I know.... bad blogger here!  I'll go into those details in a couple weeks.  It's been a busy spring and I **might** be coming up from air soon.

But I have a music teacher friend who is hosting a linky party so I wanted to link up to share with you some great resources that I'm excited about and you can get on sale in the next two days!!!

So, thanks to Mrs. Tina at the "Totally Tuned-in Teacher" for hosting this linky party!!!  As part of the link up I am to share one product that I made that I'm excited about, a product by another music teacher I'm stoked about and some clip art that's on my wish list.

You know, today is May the 4th!  Now, contrary to how it might appear, I'm not all that big of a Star Wars fan but my students are and really, it's all about making a connection with your students.  (Totally another blog post but I often get asked how I keep my older kiddos engaged, especially the boys and THIS is the ticket- capitalize on their interests and use it as a "hook" to bait them)

So, here's my current bait that I'm super excited about and they LOVED using today:

Recorder Force: Interactive Games and Flashcards for Recorder practice. There is a BAG, BAGE, BAGED, C'BAG and D'C'BAG editions as well as a Bundled set.  For each note grouping there is a "Dark Side Pattern Game," a "Play the Character Game," and digital flashcards for practicing patterns used in the games and for general practice, extracted from folk songs.  My kiddos really enjoyed these today and have already asked to do them next time in music!

Here are a couple files that I'm super excited to get from other teachers:

Write the Room- any and all of these files from Karla Cherwinski are AMAZING!  They are well done and the kids love them!!

And these BAGED No-Prep Recorder worksheets from Aileen Miracle.  I've been working on some for my Recorder is AWESOME file but they aren't done and I need worksheets STAT!  So, these are here to save the day!!

Regarding clip art I can't wait to get Krista Wallden's Summer VIP set and I have a bunch of Melonheadz sets on my wish list but this is one that I'm SUPER excited about from Kate Hadfield.  The whole set cracks me up and I can't wait to make something with it for my kiddos (again, using this as a hook... you know those boys and their prankster-like behaviors!)

Thanks again to Tina for hosting the linky party.  You can browse my store by clicking here.  Don't forget many sellers are discounting their stores to 20% off and then add the promo code "ThankYou" at check out for an additional discount!!!

Happy shopping everyone!
