S'Vivon

Here's a fun Chanukah song for you that the kids always love to sing:

Translation:
Driedel spin, spin, spin
Chanukah is a nice holiday
Chanukah is a nice holiday
Driedel spin, spin, spin

It's a joyous holiday for the nation
A great miracle happened there
A great miracle happened there
It's a joyous holiday for the people

To this song we just add a simple circle movement to it.  Holding hands, we circle right for the first 16 counts using a "grapevine-like" step: right to the side, left-behind, right to the side, left-behind, etc.  On the second 16 counts we circle left, using the same step pattern but vice-verse.

You can also add the following non-pitched percussion instruments as an ostinato:

I'm not Jewish so all of the Chanukah music that I've learned has been from workshops, other teachers and resources that I deam "credible" so if for some reason you know a better version or way to sing any of the Chanukah songs that I post please let me know! :)
